Join the Society Hill Civic Association

Your Civic Association is proud of our contribution in preserving and protecting a quality of life we have come to enjoy. Please renew your membership today and consider donating extra funds so that we may add services in the future.

Here are just some of the services we have been providing:

  • The Society Hill Reporter — one of the best publications of its kind — delivered to your house bi-monthly
  • The beautification of Washington Square — we inspired the massive improvements over the past five years, and continue to fund beautification enhancements including plantings and restoration of the originally designed fountain.
  • We contract for a weekly sidewalk cleaning service and provide a semi-annual neighborhood clean-up day.
  • We have illuminated our neighborhood by funding the replacement of all Franklin lights.
  • We have founded, supported and provided funding for the organization now know as Penn's Village. Penn's Village will address the needs of residents who want to stay in their homes as they age.
  • We have worked with the Friends of Three Bears Park and provided funds for the renovations at the park.
