Mary Tracy moved to Society Hill in 2011 from Overbrook Farms, where she lived for 30 years and served as a board member and past president of the neighborhood civic association. As president, Mary led efforts to obtain federal transportation funding tor the restoration of the historic Overbrook Train Station. She is the president of Scenic America, a national organization working to preserve and enhance the visual character of America’s roadways, countryside and communities. In 1990, Mary cofounded the Society Created to Reduce Urban Blight, better known as SCRUB, partnering with community groups and local officials to pass laws protecting neighborhoods from billboard blight.
