Welcome Basket

Since 1999, SHCA has been welcoming new first-time homeowners to the neighborhood with a valuable gift: The Welcome Basket. The basket includes neighborhood information, fresh food, and gift certificates to area theaters, restaurants, shops, services, and museums. All of the contents are donated by area businesses and organizations. If you are a new first-time home/condo owner in Society Hill and are interested, let us know you are here. We will contact you to make an appointment for a presentation in your home. To date, over 830 baskets have been presented to new homeowners. You can show support for our contributing businesses and organizations by patronizing them. They make our baskets possible.
