The 2023 Gardens
of Society Hill Tour

The Gardens of Society Hill Tour was a huge success, attracting 513 visitors to this fun two-day event. Excellent weather made it a perfect day. Tour goers were delighted to see a variety of gardens of all sizes and designs, all meticulously cared for by their owners — labors of love, to be sure!

We extend our thanks to the following: our 18 garden owners who allowed us to showcase their beautiful gardens; our 60 volunteers who hosted the gardens; our four generous business sponsors: Bartlett Tree Experts, Liberty Tree & Landscape, Earthly Delights, and Fine Garden Creations; and our volunteer bakers and Talula’s Daily who donated baked goods. The Hill-Physick House provided our headquarters.

Tour goers came from over 35 zip codes, including Center City and other Philadelphia neighborhoods, the Philly metro area, New Jersey, Washington, DC, and Queens, New York.
