For the removal of dead street trees and replanting new ones:

SHCA offers a subsidy of 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $600 for members and a maximum of $500 for non-members.

For pruning trees:

SHCA provides a subsidy of 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $400 for members and $300 for non-members. Once you have received a pruning subsidy, you must wait two years before applying again.
