The Society Hill Civic Association advocates for the preservation and restoration of its historic buildings, and represents the community’s interest concerning zoning issues, design, and development. A development requiring a zoning variance must be presented for review to the SHCA Zoning and Historic Preservation Committee, which votes on whether to support the requested variance when submitted the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
